commonsfähig
Hi Innotata. Please do not tag numerous files, which have the NoCommons template on the file description page, with {{Commonsfähig}}. If you would like such files to get transferred to Commons, you might ask for help on WD:COMT. --Leyo 13:33, 8. Mai 2011 (CEST)
- I think they are all ones added automatically by GFDL, PD or some other templates; the English says "without an individual review", and it looks to me the german says something similar; though no problems are evident, so it looks like these weren't added by somebody. I'm probably wrong; what are the files that can be kept on the German Wikipedia, but not Commons? —innotata 18:02, 8. Mai 2011 (CEST)
- The only ones I'll be able to tell what's happening with are public domain ones. Most that I can find either are certainly public domain in the EU and the US, like Datei:1587 Eleonore de Bourbon-Conde.jpg, or only give enough information to say they are public domain in the US, like Datei:0525Neustädtelklein.jpg. Media used on this Wikipedia need to be public domain in the German-speaking areas, right? but these last files are tagged as public domain in the EU, but not necessarily the US, when they actually are the opposite. Those that I've tagged (you haven't pointed out which they are) I recall are ones that definitely had no problems apparent at least with their license status given. I probably shouldn't be doing all this while I don't know German, but there are a lot that are very clear, including some that could be used in particular pages in other languages, and a lot of likely copyright infringements. —innotata 18:25, 8. - An example? Datei:Respirationsanlage Schema.png
- Datei:1587 Eleonore de Bourbon-Conde.jpg was tagged with an inappropriate license. I corrected this and moved the file to Commons. Datei:0525Neustädtelklein.jpg (older than 100 years, author unknown and unsure if died more than 70 years ago), however, can only be kept with {{Bild-PD-alt-100}}, but not with {{Bild-PD-alt}}.
- Wikipedia:Nicht commonsfähig would probably answer most of your questions. I don't know, if you are able to understand the content, i.e. if Google Translate is good enough. --Leyo 21:31, 8. Mai 2011 (CEST)
- OK. I think Commons pages say only files with licensing problems can't be moved to Commons, and that one doesn't. I'll look at the Nicht commonsfähig page later, and fix those similar to the portrait. —innotata 23:07, 12. Mai 2011 (CEST)
