Polizeicodes sind codes, die eine Nachricht verschlüsseln. Ein sehr bekannter Polizeicode ist 187, der Polizeicode für Mord. Es gibt eine ganze liste mit codes.

Zuordnung der Begrifflichkeiten Simplex und Halb-Duplex

In der Nachrichtentechnik werden wie auch in Wikipedia unter "Duplex(Nachrichtentechnik" beschrieben, die Begrifflichkeiten so definiert, wie unten zitiert. Dementsprechend treffe ich folgende Zuordnung:

Mit Duplex (Vollduplex), Halbduplex oder Simplex bezeichnet man in der Kommunikationstechnik die Richtungsabhängigkeit von Kommunikationskanälen.

   * Simplex (SX) ist der gerichtete Betrieb. Das bedeutet ein Informationstransfer findet nur in eine festgelegte Richtung statt (nur Senden oder Empfangen von Nachrichten), z. B. Radio, Fernsehen oder Pager.
   * Halbduplex (HX), auch Semiduplex genannt bedeutet wechselseitiger Betrieb. Hierbei können Informationen in beide Richtungen fließen, allerdings nicht gleichzeitig, z. B. Amateurfunk.
