thanks, I don't understand well your first 2 paragraphs (before the @), but I understand everything I need to learning the origin of the manuscript. the date is 1871 (th 1st section) and 1870 (the 2nd). it's Volumen XII (what is meaning "codex"? there is a book and sub-books? and the 1st sentence in the 2 sec. I think it's mean that although Dr. Jaraczewski describe it like a Jeruchsalmi Talmud, is't incorrect. Israel Krul 07:04, 14. Feb. 2010 (CET)

I didn't go very deep into the discussion but I think a lot of scholars were convinced by Lagarde that J. was not right. Codex means not very much more than being a voluminous manuscript. Best, --Aalfons 14:33, 14. Feb. 2010 (CET)
