It would be customary in some countries to give the full name, bracketing unused forenames, thus (Heinrich Wilhelm) Max Zacharias.

Are you sure the date of death is 2 May ?, here in Jahresbericht Deutsche Mathematiker Vereinigung 1965 the date of death is 22 May, and he seems to have been a Gymnasium Teacher in Quedlinburg--Claude J 16:04, 17. Apr. 2011 (CEST)

Why not try asking one of the historians of mathematics in Berlin, such as Eberhard Knobloch <eberhard.knobloch@tu-berlin.de>; I seem to recollect that there is an archive telling more about HWMZ. But maybe you might want to mention that he was one of the people active in the exposition of elementary geometry, as cited by Klein.
