Map

First of all, let me apologize for not speaking German; I came to this page as a result of an interwiki link as the author/translator of the English-language article and would like to make a comment about the map at Bild:Bahnstrecke Jaffa-Jerusalem.jpg.

The problem with the map is that it's anachronistic. On the one hand, it shows the Jaffa–Tel Aviv South segment as part of the line, which has in fact been dismantled many years ago. On the other hand, it shows modern (post-2005) stations like Kfar Chabad, the Biblical Zoo and Jerusalem Malha.

You are absolutely right regarding the multi-coloured map on top of the article. But the following chart shows both. Red: the line of today; pink: the historic features. -- Reinhard Dietrich 14:08, 1. Dez. 2009 (CET)

Sanierung und Neubau

Könnte mal erklärt werden warum die alte Strecke erst saniert wird und gleichzeitig mit einer Neubaustrecke begonnen wird? Was soll so was? Ein Schildbürgerstreich?--Antemister (Diskussion) 23:07, 26. Dez. 2019 (CET)

Covid-19 und Zukunft

Nach verschiedenen Berichten ist die Strecke seit dem Lockdown noch immer nicht wieder in Betrieb genommen worden. Ist das Indiz für eine “schleichende Stilllegung“? Was sind die offiziellen Pläne? Hobbitschuster (Diskussion) 19:14, 21. Nov. 2021 (CET)
