Meister ist für mich der Meister einer Liga die vom offiziellen Verband ausgetragen wird, der Mitglied der EFAF ist. Die British American Football Association veranstalltet die British American Football League. Also würde ich die Meister der BAFL evtl. ihrer Vorgängerligen als offiziell zählen. --84.142.235.83 09:57, 4. Feb. 2009 (CET)

So einfach ist das nicht. Es finden sich diverse Listen mit diversen Endspielnamen :( Zudem ist es seltsam wenn ein Team X den BritBowl gewinnt, aber das Team Y - aus einer Konkurrenzliga - im Eurobowl spielt. Ganz gut finde ich diese Liste auf der fr.wiki fr:Championnat_du_Royaume-Uni_de_football_américain, die passt aber nur bedingt zu dieser BAFL-Homepage, super auch diese Seite britballnow.co.uk-History nur passt das alles nicht richtig zusammen :( --Garnichtsoeinfach ^{(Gesprächsbedarf?)} 10:29, 4. Aus der Geschichte der London Ravens[1]

The first formal league season began in 1985 and the Londoners beat allcomers with an ease that suggested a long reign as No.1. A 45-7 victory in AFL Summer Bowl I over the Streatham Olympians (now the London O’s) was proof of their power. The game was played at Villa Park. In 1985 they also became the first British side to beat an all American team as they defeated USAF Chicksands Chicks 13-12 on the 4th July on their Independence Day festival with touchdowns through Victor Ebudideke and Mark Wynnick.

It was a repeat performance in 1986 as the Ravens joined the Budweiser League and dumped Streatham 20-12 for the title. However, UK football politics robbed them of a place in Eurobowl I. A rival league and not Budweiser was still recognised by the European Football League at this time, so the Birmingham Bulls took the Raven’s place in Holland. --84.142.235.83 10:39, 4. By 1985 it was time for some serious business, with the launch of the American Football League UK, and a new local rival - Jim Orazzio and numerous Lions players split from the team to form the Glasgow Diamonds. But the players who remained with the Lions were to have the last laugh, when they swept the Diamonds en route to a 7-4-1 record, having already secured victory in the inaugural Capital Bowl. The Lions were invited to the playoffs as stand-ins for Tyneside, but lost to the Birmingham Bulls. Glasgow played in the first ever competitive American football game in the UK when they hosted the Edinburgh Eagles in week one of the AFL UK.

At the start of 1984, there were about twenty teams in training, most of which had no kit, no experience, and no coaches. At the time only one organisation was in business, the British American Football Federation. BAFF was set up in the fall of '83 by a London equipment supplier, Max Randell, with four charter member teams. There were quite a few unaligned teams who were wary of the league, and a meeting was arranged at Baden Powell House in London in order to unite the teams. It ended up with a split. BAFF, who at this time had increased its members to seven teams, liased with the European Football League, the federation which organises matches between teams in West Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Switzerland, Austria and Holland. Apart from the AFL and BAFF, there were also two smaller leagues, the UKAFA, who had the Slough Silverbacks as champions, and the Amateur American Football Conference, Locomotive Derby being this league's No.1 in '85. The year ended on a high note, with the AFL forming an all-star team (with 31 Ravens players out of 50) and beating the more experienced French international side 7-0. So, the first full year of British football was over, and everything seemed okay, except the fact that there was no single structure. The two main leagues, AFL and BAFF, started talks about a possible merger, which ended up with both leagues becoming the British American Football League. 1991 saw the (Ipswich) Cardinals being chosen to represent the nation in the Eurobowl competition. On Easter Sunday, the French Champions Aix-en-Provence Argonauts came to Ipswich for the second round clash, which would see one of the teams go into the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Hier gab es dann zum einen die BNGL (BRITISH NATIONAL GRIDIRON LEAGUE) und die NDMA COCA-COLA LEAGUE. Hier wurde der BNGL-Sieger zum Eurobowl geladen, ein Jahr zuvor war es nocht der Sieger der BUDWEISER LEAGUE 1989. Witzig dabei, die Manchester Spartans gewannen 1989 die Bud League und 1990 die NDMA, einmal waren sie der Eurobowlvertreter, das andere mal nicht - obwohl sie auch noch Cupverteidiger waren.

Ukraine

Ich habe was über die Ukraine herausgefunden. Werde da aber noch nicht ganz schlau draus, warte bis mein Account in ihrem Verbandsforum freigeschaltet wird. Fein, fein. Zwei Fragen dazu:

1. Wurde 2008 keine Meisterschaft ausgetragen?
2. Spielen die ein Endspiel oder nur einen Spielrunde?

Doch 2008 gabs einem Meister, ist auch aufgelistet. Liga besteht aus 2. Gruppen a 3 Teams. Danach Halbfinale und Finale. Die Donetsk Varagians sind die ehemaligen Denetsk Scythians. --85.176.126.140 18:51, 5. Feb. 2009 (CET)
