Rename this article

This page does not respect the bilingual status of Aosta Valley (French-Italian) as well as the purpose of Wikipedia as an effective tool to record all the different versions of toponyms, etc. Here you have a version in German of this toponym, and 1 and 2 results for this one. In my opinion, this page should be renamed using a German name. --Simontschik84 (Diskussion) 12:31, 24. Jan. 2014 (CET)

Was sagen die Namenskonventionen in Sachen Aostatal? Bisher wohl nichts. Der Gran San Bernardo hat den deutschen Namen Grosser Sankt Bernhard. Allerdings sind die Ortsnamen im Aostatal (außer Aosta) - im Gegensatz zu Südtirol - offiziell in französischer Form. Was nun? -- PhJ . 21:11, 26. Jan. 2014 (CET)
Concerning the Ortsnamen, in Aosta Valley they are all in French, but all other toponyms such as "Valle del Gran San Bernardo" / "Vallée du Grand-Saint-Bernard" or "Lago di Place-Moulin" / "Lac de Place-Moulin" have a double version. Which are the rules on WP:de? Eg. I saw that only the Italian version is mostly used for lakes, but "Gardasee" is used instead of "Lago di Garda"... I think that this article should be renamed into "Tal des Großen Sankt Bernhard", since this toponym exists in German (it occurs on the internet) and since it would be not correct to put the Italian name (moreover, concerning a toponym of international level) in a bilingual region. --Simontschik84 (Diskussion) 15:19, 30.
