Biljana Vankovska

Biljana Vankovska (mazedonisch Билјана Ванковска, Nachname auch Cvetovska-Vankovska bzw. Vankovska-Cvetovska; * 1959 in Skopje) ist eine mazedonische Politologin.

Ihr Studium der Politikwissenschaft an der Universität Skopje schloss sie 1992 mit einer Promotion ab. Dort lehrt sie seit 1993, zunächst als Dozentin, inzwischen als ordentliche Professorin am Institut für Sicherheit, Verteidigung und Frieden der Philosophischen Fakultät. Daneben ist sie auch Professorin am European University Center for Peace Studies in Stadtschlaining (Österreich). 2000/01 absolvierte sie einen Forschungsaufenthalt am Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces in Genf.

2006/07 gehörte sie dem Vorstand des mazedonischen Helsinki-Komitee an. Sie ist Mitglied der 2016 gegründeten Bewegung Demokratie in Europa 2025 (DiEM25).
