Der Ostergruß, auch bekannt als Osterakklamation, ist ein österlicher Brauch, der in den Ostkirchen weit verbreitet ist, aber teilweise auch in westlichen Kirchen während der Ostertage zu hören ist. Man begrüßt sich mit dem Ausruf: „Christus ist auferstanden!“ („Χριστὸς ἀνέστη!“) Die so Gegrüßten antworten: „Er ist wahrhaftig auferstanden!“ („Ἀληθῶς ἀνέστη!“). Der Gruß ist aus Lukas 24,34 EU abgeleitet.[1]
Ähnliche Erwiderungen sind auch aus den Liturgien anderer christlicher Kirchen bekannt.
In einigen Gebieten, so etwa in Russland und Serbien, ist es zudem Brauch, sich nach dem Gruß einen dreifachen Kuss abwechselnd auf die rechte und die linke Wange zu geben.
