Choeny Wagma (* 28th October 1984 in Zurich) is a swiss/tibetan Designer.
Choeny Wagma designed Jewellery from a young age. Since then the fashion addiction has never died down.
Her skills honed later on working in Bombay for a large company whose major clients were Lanvin, Chloé,
Matthew Williamson,..., led by a guru boss whose designs would always become trend phenomenon.
After being trained by that keen eye and having worked in various areas of the fashion industry.
Seeing the entire course of concept to consumer. She decided to strike out on her own.
It was time to launch 495DM.
The inspiration behind her Jewellery is a compilation of all her travels. Through her travels she always comes across new materials and styles. She divides her time between Zürich, NYC and her workshop in Bombay. She designs everything in her Studio and takes the prototypes over to her workshop. All her pieces are handmade.
