Kollektiv Bushbash is an electronic music and art collective based in Munich, Germany. Since 2017 they have been organizing various cultural and political events in Germany[1] and are notorious for their illegal, non-commercial and underground Techno parties in Munich. In 2019 a short documentary called "Illegale Techno-Raves: Adrenalin-Kick bis die Polizei kommt" has been published by BR Puls on YouTube, which has since been seen over 1.5 million times.
Concept
Based on their website their principle idea is that partying should be without any commercial objective or emphasis. Additionally, they have three main principles that they want to pursue consistantly when organizing events:
- Party Green: Maintaining a sustainable way to organize an event in regards to the environment and general consumption.
- Everybody’s welcome: Racism, homophobia, and sexism is not tolerated.
- No harassment: Sexual or generally any harassment is not tolerated as well.
