I'm administering linguistics classes. Very often, advanced students of mine are encouraged to contribute to Wikipedia instead of writing an essay. But don't worry, I also introduce them to Wikipedia editing, especially the content policy, based on the guidelines by Gretchen McCulloch (but adapted for the German community in cases where there differences, e.g., Bewertungsbausteine instead of coarse classification).
