Elias Elhardt (* 27. Februar 1988) is a professional snowboarder and filmmaker from Germany.[1]

Life and work

In his films [2][3], he uses snowboarding as a platform and vehicle to tell stories, which show snowboarding in all it’s beauty but also critically reflect on bigger subjects such as environmentalism [4]. As an athlete he is considered one of Europes best backcountry snowboarders [5] [6] and was featured as a protagonist in multiple snowboard films along side other riders such as Travis Rice [7] and Gigi Rüf[8]. He also has a long history as a competitor with multiple podiums in Freestyle competitions like the Air & Style [9] or Freeride competitions such as the Freeride World Tour [10]. He grew up in Oberstaufen, Germany and lives in Innsbruck, Austria since 2010.
