Laila Alina Reischer
Laila Alina Reischer (born September 15, as Laila Alina Maria Reischer) is an Austrian film actress, writer, producer and director.
She is best known for her appearance in James Bond - Quantum of Solace, but her scene in the film was essentially cut due to time constraints. She studied international economics at Aston University in Birmingham, before devoting her life to film acting and producing.
In 2011 she was selected as an upcoming European acting talent by the Berlinale Talent actors stage. She is the recipient of various accolades, including an Award as Best Supporting Actress in a feature film for her role in the mystery thriller 22:43 in 2011 or the Arthur Haidl Price in 2013 for her exceptional achievements in the Austrian Film Industry. After finishing her master degree in business she began to study acting and writing at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She appeared in several TV series and movies such as Tatort, Soko Donau or Bergdoktor.
Reischer's directorial ventures include the short films Avalon (2008) or Land of Ice (2013), where she also appeared in a lead role beneath Michael Steinocher and Lucas Zolgar and occurred as the main producer.
