Kjell Gustav Nyborg is an economist, Chaired Professor of Finance at the University of Zurich, Department of Banking and Finance where he is also a Vice Director. He also holds Senior Chair of the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) and is a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Nyborg is the current President of the European Finance Association as well as the former Director and Vice President. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He specializes in Corporate Finance, Auction Theory, and Money and Liquidity in Financial Markets. His recent book "Collateral Frameworks: The Open Secret of Central Banks" sheds light on the workings and practices of central banks.
