Background

Werner Beiter learned to be a toolmaker and is a Master instrument mechanic and constructor. Countless innovations in the field of micro-plastic have quickly led to recognition. In 1968, Werner Beiter founded a construction office in Schwenning am Neckar for plastic parts and in-mould tools. A second company started out of this construction office. To begin with, little precision moulded parts were created with an injection moulding machine, that have been deemed impossible to contrive/fabricate before (e.g. gear-wheels with a module < 0.2mmm). Furthermore, really small/miniscule parts have been developed and produced for the photography interindustry. The second company grew so much that the construction office stopped to work for outside companies and started working exclusively for the Beiter company. Due to their expansion of the range of product the company moved to a bigger production site in Schwenningen in 1972. At this point the development, construction and production of in-mould tools through his own tool shop was being carried out for actuators of vertical blinds, precision mechanics, clockwork technology, electrical engineering, electronic and medical technology, and the production of the according plastic parts. In 1979 the company moved to a new construction hall in Dauchingen. By now the company called 10 people their employees. In the 80ies the production range expanded in medical engineering (e.g. new implants: bone plates and bone screws made out of, by the human body absorbable, plastic). Furthermore the company developed and produced medical plastic parts for laparoscopy, endoscopy and arthoscopy.

Archery

In 1985 the first research, development and construction in the field of archery was made and the production of small components started: starting off with the nocking point and the nockthat have both been patented worldwide and are acclaimed to this day. The range of archery equipment expanded consistently and now includes: clicker, target face pins, plunger, sight tunnel, arm guard, scope, stabilisers, tools etc. Basis of many of Werner Beiter's equipment/inventions are recordings with a high-speed camera with 6.000 to 8.000 frames per second. The first commercially published high-speed recordings have been released by Werner Beiter. Beiter archery equipment is being sold and shot in over 90 countries all over the world.
