The Interlink Academy for International Dialog and Journalism is a non-profit-organization that provides trainings for journalists from countries with limited press freedom and freedom of expression. Interlink is based in Hamburg, Germany.
The emphasis of the training programs is on digital, multimedia journalism. They are taught using blended learning methods.[1] The programs are targeted at working journalists with an interest in digital journalism who come from countries with limited press freedom and freedom of expression and receive grants covering all costs for the attendance phase. Previous Interlink Fellows come from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Africa, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.
Interlink was established in 2014 by Werner Eggert.[2]
