History
Wincasa was founded in 1999 as a subsidiary of the Credit Suisse Group. It was the product of a merger between the real estate division of the former insurance company Winterthur Versicherungen and the real estate asset management activities of Credit Suisse. Wincasa was taken over by real estate investment company Swiss Prime Site in October 2012.

Wincasa's portfolio of services covers the entire lifecycle of a property: From planning to construction and management, all the way to revitalisation and sale. Management - Wincasa is responsible for 58,000 managed flats and 6.4 million m2 of office and commercial space. Wincasa offers management services to companies and institutional investors. These include increasing returns and property values, tenant support, building and operating cost management, property maintenance, living services/old age residential services and the management of demanding special properties.

Wincasa manages 620,000 m2 of shopping and retail space. Wincasa offers comprehensive property management services for owners of retail properties. These include ensuring the commercial success of shopping centres and strategies for shopping centres and retail properties.

Wincasa supports more than 550 construction projects per year, with a total value of CHF 500 million. Wincasa handles transactions totalling over CHF 400 million per year from marketing more than 150,000 m2 of commercial space and flats. Its services include market, location, property and portfolio analyses, cost-effectiveness studies, strategy and portfolio consulting, sales services, investment advice and transaction management.

Wincasa sets itself apart from other real estate services providers thanks to its specifically-developed Winacasa Q real estate software. This professional management cockpit for reporting, assessment, business & strategy planning plays a central role in Wincasa's digitalisation strategy. The company uses Wincasa Q to handle most of its business processes, for example entering key data for properties or the details of tenancy agreements.
