Moin Fortitou, da ist wohl etwas schiefgelaufen bei deiner Weiterleitung von Pierre Attaignant zu Pierre Attaingnant, wurde ja auch von Benutzer:24karamea revertiert. Was hattest du denn da genau vor? Vielleicht kann ich dir hier helfen. Falls du neu bist, schau doch auch mal bei Hilfe:Neu bei Wikipedia nach. The reason is : "Attaingnant" is the correct name, not "Attaignant"... You should revert it again ! (CEST)

Hi Fortitou, I assume that you are not regularly working in the German wikipedia (but in the French version, right?). In case you want to change the main article name from Attaignant to Attaingnant (and as fas as I can see, both versions are correct in a way), you could announce that on the respective talk page and please add a reliable source. After that, you might move the old article to the new name and install a redirect in the old article. What you did was copying an article into a second one without taking care of any formatting, put in a French summary and all that without a source or a single word of discussion or announcement. Consequently, your changes have been reverted. Please do not take me wrong: I appreciate very much that you are contributing here. I am a regular contributor of french WP but not of german WP (which works a bit differently). I should have been more careful. But I strongly suggest you revert Attaignant to Attaingnant : these two ways are NOT both correct, only Attaingnant is the correct name. The reference in this matter is Heartz's book, where he is named Attaingnant everywhere. All his music prints read Attaingnant, too. Don't hesitate, I can garanty this, I am a specialist on this field. Mfg, LG.

Ok, good. A quick interwiki check shows that the en and fr version have Attaingnant as primary and Attaignant as secondary spellings, whereas de, eo and es have it vice versa. nl only accepts Attaingnant.
