Dateien nach Commons hochladen

Hallo Malte Hübner,

schön, dass du Wikipedia Dateien zur Verfügung stellst. Die Lizenzierung deiner Dateien (oder einigen davon) würde auch das Hochladen bei der zentralen Mediendatenbank Wikimedia Commons erlauben. Dateien, die auf Commons liegen, können auch in anderen Wikiprojekten direkt eingebunden werden und stehen damit auch anderen Sprachversionen zur Verfügung. Ein weiterer Vorteil von Commons ist, dass dort alle Dateien kategorisiert (im Unterschied zur Wikipedia, wo dies nur für bestimmte Dateien gilt) und somit einfacher gefunden werden können.     • We are continuing to work on the new search profile for languages to make setting the language of a new Lexeme easier (phab:T307869)
  • REST API: We are putting finishing touches on the first version of the API route to add statements to an Item. It is still lacking support for automated edit summaries.

    • Next Linked Data for Libraries LD4 Wikidata Affinity Group Wikidata Working Hour September 30, 2022: the seventh Wikidata Working Hour in the series will be a review session of creating contributor and publisher items in Wikidata. The primary goal of this session is to generate as many contributor and publisher items as we can in advance of the two following sessions which have to do with batch editing -- we want enough to make a good batch! We will review how to add items, but then reserve the bulk of the session for open editing, kind of like a mini-editathon!
