Please fix your "Melanotane" misspelling error. Thank you. 83.202.21.128 17:49, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)

If you refer to the spelling "Melanotane" there's nothing to fix as in German, "Melanotane" is the plural of "Melanotan". The sentence in question refers to both Melanotans (german: "beide Melanotane" as opposed to "ein Melanotan"), so it's perfectly correct. It's OK if you cannot speak or write German, but I'm afraid it's not OK if you "correct" the orthography of German articles. I hope I did not misunderstand your request, if so please let me know. --S_nova 20:19, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
There is no such thing as "melanotans" there are melanotan peptides. Melanotan is just a class. Melanotans is like saying sheeps... it's wrong. Sheep is already plural. 82.123.126.68 20:33, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
Let google show you. The only sites that have the word "melanotane" are either found in forums or otherwise a French misspelling. If we search on just the word melanotan on German sites : like so we see over 6,000 hits. 82.123.126.68 20:40, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
Actually of exactly 4 hits for the word "melanotane" German Wikipedia's misspelling is the primary one [1]. 82.123.126.68 20:45, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
I'd suggest to end the discussion on this page. I do not see why you cannot form the plural of a class of compounds, it's done in the case of many other classes, but then I am no Melanotan expert. Having no intention to become one, I'd suggest you sort this on the discussion page of the article to get some more comments as my view might be too simplistic. I for my part will accept whatever the community goes for. --S_nova 21:07, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
Maybe both of you can agree to a compromise such as “beide Melanotan-Typen”? --Leyo 21:29, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
Salomonisch, bevor mir hier der Speicherplatz ausgeht, hab ich das mal gemacht ;-) --S_nova 21:32, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
No, I will not waste further time on this obstinacy when you obviously (by your own admission) have no reason to doubt me . The last time I brought a point to the talk page (about the Swiss video) absolutely nothing was done about my point. 82.123.126.68 21:19, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
Habe ich den Fernsehbeitrag nun beim falschen Artikel ergänzt? --Leyo 23:58, 12. Jan. 2009 (CET)
No, it's fine now. I brought the video to the talk page on 16 Nov and it sat there untouched until finally I added it on 26 December. It makes one have less confidence in trying to use the talk page to get anything done here. 89.159.158.241 04:03, 13. Jan. 2009 (CET)

Hallo S Nova, Ich habe die Kategorien in dem Artikel in deinem BNR auskommentiert. Auch wenn der Artikel im BNR steht, erscheint er trotzdem schon in den entsprechenden Kategorien als Artikel. Wenn du den Artikel in den ANR verschiebst entfernst du meine Änderung einfach wieder. Gruß --Eschenmoser 15:45, 31. Jan. 2009 (CET)

OK, danke. Wieder was dazugelernt. --S_nova 16:50, 31. Jan. 2009 (CET)
