Hi, we met on mw:Topic:Wbhlcob44btk3anh today.

• You are not permitted to create a concurring project infrastructure in a Wiki you are not member of maintenance team.
• Even more you are not permitted to create any module here without permission.
• Template:MediaWiki-Button has no unnamed parameters. Your transclusion could not work, since you have provided unnamed parameters, but each parameter has a name. Check documentation first.
• Never ever create any template nor module on foreign wikis where you do not know policies nor being familiar with their language.
• Template:MediaWiki-Button has 8054 transclusions, it works. We do not want to maintain any competitor.

Actually I created this template here on de wiki because this is a leading Wiki and other smaller projects will try to copy from here. Many people initially copied the unlinked version (version 1) of en:Template:Clickable button from en wp and only later did they copy the better version 2. So now they all have 2 clickable buttons :(. That's why I created the better version one also here so that other wikis can copy the best version directly. Thanks Vis M (Diskussion) 21:19, 25. It is not “the better version”.

• E.g. Template:MediaWiki-Button has better means for accessibility (blind people) and mobile devices.

In this Wiki unnamed parameters are undesired.

• The parameters of the 8k times used template are all named. And it is even for English speaking people quite easy to guess what |Text= or |Link= might cause.

For each Template and each Module a full documentation in German language has to be provided to enable our authors and people to handle and maintain that. We will not create that, nor will we maintain a concurring solutiuon aside to the established solution here.

Our stuff is made for German speaking people at first hand, but most of the parameters in Template:MediaWiki-Button are already in English or quite close: |class= |Icon= |Link= |Margin= |Padding= |Quiet= |Text= |Tooltip= |Typ=. If any other language likes to copy from here, they might find translations for |Groß= |Hilfe= |Zentriert=.

You are a guest in this Wiki, but you are not behaving like a guest but you decided to put a lot of extra work this evening and in future on maintaining something we do not want.
