Creighton Lecture

Creighton Lecture ist eine jährlich stattfindende Reihe von Vorlesungen bzw. Vorträgen, die 1907 vom King’s College London eingerichtet wurde.
Sie ist zu Ehren des Historikers Mandel Creighton (1843–1901) benannt und beschäftigt sich mit den verschiedensten geschichtswissenschaftlichen Themen. Der Lecturer wird durch das College im jährlichen Wechsel berufen. Das Amt war anfangs mit £ 650 dotiert; der Betrag stammte jeweils zur Hälfte vom College und von Louise Creighton (1850–1936), der Witwe des Geehrten.
