Diskussion:Gabi Aschkenasi

aus Wikipedia, der freien Enzyklopädie

There is no need for source. Ashkenazi is a very frequent Sefardi Jewish name in the Balkans. It is like to prove that Mueller is a German name

I apologize for writing here in English, but it is better than my German. The referral in the text to the explanation of the ethymology of the last name Ashkenazi has no direct relation to the origin of the general himself. Bulgarian Jews called Ashkenazi are not Ashkenazi Jews but Sefardic Jews. So general Ashkenazi has a Sefardic Jewish father from Bulgaria and a Syrian Jewish mother. Giving this two sources is satisfactory. Thanks. --GrummelJS 20:03, 27. Jan. 2009 (CET)
