Kyrill-Alphabet - letter O

This alphabet is not so "ehemalig", as it is not infrequently still used for Gagauz texts. Letter O is missing in the German Wikipedia.

Research results Latin Gagauz alphabet

Hello, I shall follow your advice to omit my e-mail - although I had thought it practical for quick exchange of ideas.

I did some impromptu research inside the different Wikis that have "Gagauz alphabet (including Chinese and Hungarian). The English language article is a stub. The Magyar Wiki exhibits fine detail of Kyrillic Gagauz alphabet, and Russian Wiki covers both alphabets. But 3rd last line of Kyrillic letter list shows error: Latin version is Ê, ê.

Beware of gag.wikipedia.org! At the bottom of the Main Page = Bas yaprak is a fancy "Gagauz alfaviti" written by some analphabet.

And in the article "Gagauz alfaviti", the Latin letter list lacks ê and yumusak g, thus arriving at 30 [instead of actually 32] letters.

Well, I invite you to do MEHR als Sie können! Just read the Gagauz alfaviti articles' top lines. You'll find: "kullanilêrdi - durêrdi - bulunêrdi".

Yumusak G is included in the best articles, Magyar and Russian; so I am sure it is part of the alphabet. Türk Wiki says: " Ğ harfinin yerine birçok sözcükte, ünlü harfler çift yazılarak Ğ sesi kazandırılır." i.e. in lieu of yumusak G letter mostly in a word, vowel letters doubly written replace the sound GH ." But it is clear yumusak G is part of the alphabet.  -  Otherwise even Türk Wiki is not reliable for Latin Gagauz alphabet.

Aussprache von "gagausisch"

Weiß jemand wie "gagausisch" ausgesprochen wird? Also am besten auf der Ausgangssprache. Weil als Default würde ich es mit au-Diphthong sprechen, aber z.B. die französische, rumänische und portugiesische Bezeichnung würden eher auf au-Hiat hindeuten. Duden und Wiktionary sind leider stumm zu dem Thema und es scheint in der englischen Wikipedia eine ähnliche Frage zu geben. --Lajos vH (Diskussion) 22:49, 19. Dez. 2015 (CET)

Deutsch [gagaˈuːzɪʃ], gagausisch [gagaˈuz] – also nix mit [gaˈgaʊ̯zɪʃ] mit Diphthong. :) Ich füge es gleich mal in den Artikel ein. Beste Grüße —[ˈjøːˌmaˑ] 23:00, 19. Dez. 2015 (CET)

Es kommt vom türkischen Wort ''Gökoğuz''. Gök bzw. Kök bedeutet Himmel und Oğuz bezieht sich auf den türkischen Stamm der Oghusen. Die Türkei-Türken, Krimtataren, Gagausen und Aserbaidschaner sind alle von der Stammeskonföderation der Kök-Türken.
