Diskussion:I Am Ghost
Texte
I have removed the section detailing the supposed stolen lyrics. This is due to the fact that there is no evidence to support this. - Again, this section is not based on factual evidence and should not be a part of the article. Please stop reverting it.86.157.213.118 04:47, 1. Jul. 2007 (CEST)
- The references added to this section are not sufficient enough as they do not draw any correlation, rather they only show a collection of materials. There are no independently verifiable information sources to reference this statement. 86.157.213.118 02:05, 3. Jul. 2007 (CEST)
- I don't agree. The References are valid. We Are Always Searching is credited as Jason Paul Fox on Epitaph, the Title of Civil War and Isolation Thirst is composed of Civil War and Isolation Thirst, the words of Lady Madeline In Her Coffin are similar to those of List of Memories. What of these sources are not sufficient? An' please, do not try to remove this section anymore before we've talked about it. Codeispoetry ∙ Nix Löschgrund? ∙ 10:59, 3. Jul. 2007 (CEST)
- As You will see on the English language talk page, this section was removed because it does not have an official source to link everything together. The major issue here is the legal aspect and that especially has not been confirmed, anywhere. I will indeed give you that We Are Always Searching is credited to Jason Paul Fox. However, linking the other songs to his work classifies as original research as there are no source which link them officially. Original research is not allowed and that content should be removed. We Are Always Searching would be the only thing left and the name and partial lyrics of a song being attributed to someone is not exactly worthy of an entire section. 86.157.213.118 00:49, 4. Christian Rock.
I Am Ghost ist keine Christian Rock band. Wie in einem artikel auf http://www.straight.com/article-105769/battling-for-something-big zu lesen ist, distanziert sich bandleader juliano davon. auch in der englischen wiki von i am ghost ist das zu lesen (According to Juliano, there was a conflict between him and the Telestai's between the direction of the band, which was actually the reason for both Kerith's and Brian's departure: he claimed they were such devoted Christians, to where they were telling people in interviews that we were a Christian rock band. Meanwhile he claimed the band was not going to be a Christian band. Juliano went on to say that Telestai would edit song lyrics, and insist the band never swear. At one point she cried in a tour van for a half-hour after Juliano used the word "fuck" on stage.)
Und warum ist hier dann weiterhin von einer "christlichen" Band die Rede? Habe dazu keine Quelle gefunden, die das bestätigt. Beste Grüße.
