Diskussion:Nikola Padewski

aus Wikipedia, der freien Enzyklopädie

Hello. The only right transcription from Пъдевски is Pydewski, not Padewski. I know that he is known only as Padewski, but I didt'n impair it, that has been done by one of polish wikipedians, who is versed in bulgarian language. The whole discussion is on polish wiki. Hello, pjahr, all "Pydewskis" I can found are in the pl:WP ;) Bulgarische Sprache respectively Rumänische Sprache say that "ъ" is a pl:Samogłoska półotwarta centralna niezaokrąglona (german: "er" in "aber" (~ short /a/)). So, how is "y" pronounced in Polish? Cheers, rorkhete 14:47, 14. Aug. 2007 (CEST)
I give up, the level of your question is too high for me :) Regards pjahr 19:00, 14. Aug. 2007 (CEST)
Sorry, another try ;) in English it's pronounced like this?/i. And according to our cyrillic naming conventions "ъ" is transcribed with "a" (Wikipedia:Namenskonventionen/Kyrillisch#Transkription). Regards, rorkhete 20:46, 14. Aug. 2007 (CEST)
