Adimensionnal coefficients in aerodynamics
Hello ! I notice in STANDARDIZATION AND AERODYNAMICS, NACA Technical Note N° 134 http://authors.library.caltech.edu/47897/1/KNInacatn134.pdf :
"In Aerial Age of October 3d, Prof. Prandtl commented upon the advantages of reducing the airspeed to the equivalent expression for height [1/2 Rho V²] as first proposed in 1914 by Prof. Knoller and adopted by all German laboratories since 1917. He also advocated the general introductionof absolute coefficients.
Is it the same Prof. Knoller ?
