Hale had difficulty finding a publisher for Farmward March, according to Jackson (1939). The book included the sentence, “Der Führer Adolf Hitler merits unstinted praise for what he has been able to accomplish for Greater Germany,” in a section touting German success in utilizing in renewable resources as industrial raw materials (Hale 1939, 202).
