Number of tournament
@Florentyna please help with this information. Badmintonmuseet.dk page 11 said that De ni turneringer der tæller i Grand Prix serien er åbne svenske mesterskaber, All England, VM, samt de åbne mesterskaber i Japan, Indonesien, Canada, Holland, Indien, Malaysia og Hong Kong. there were 9 tournaments listed as Grand Prix, or there were another ref about 1983 GP? --Stvbastian (Diskussion) 07:02, 7. - This article wrote another guy from Germany. I guess I bought the here mentioned Yonex handbook on ebay, too, but have too look for it. Pat Davis writes in his encyclopaedia from 1987 on page 125 unter the lemma Pro-Kennex Grand Prix: The 1983 GP was based on AEC, JAP, SWE, IDN, CAN, NED, IND, MYS and HKG championships divided into 4 categories with CAT I including AEC and WC. In 1985, Pro-Kennex increased the number of tournaments to 15 (plus Victor GP cancelled). All 16 (15) 1985 tournaments are listed with an exact date in the encyclopaedia. --Florentyna (Diskussion) 17:17, 7. Apr. 2020 (CEST)
- But: HKG was not held, IND without MX, NED without Chinese and Koreans - probably at least these three were later excluded from the series. --Florentyna (Diskussion) 17:34, 7. Apr. 2020 (CEST)
- Florentyna, I hve read all the Badmintonmuseet.dk 1983 series, just wanted to make sure, and the World Badminton Grand Prix 1983 is correct with only 7 tournament listed as Grand Prix event. Stvbastian (Diskussion) 20:28, 7. Apr. 2020 (CEST)

I understood, but it seems that it still remains unclear. Davis and DK make different statements in comparison to the Yonex handbook. Davis and DK without a list of results, the Yonex handbook with this list. I suggest to find out more sources. --Florentyna (Diskussion) 07:09, 8. Apr. 2020 (CEST)
