Lambda Literary Award
Lambda Literary Award (auch bekannt unter dem Namen Lammys) ist ein jährlich vergebener Literaturpreis in den Vereinigten Staaten. Der Literaturpreis wird von der Lambda Literary Foundation seit 1988 vergeben. Ausgezeichnet werden Bücher, die im Vorjahr in englischer Sprache im Themenbereich LGBT veröffentlicht wurden. Die Lambda Literary Foundation hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, zur Bekanntheit bei Lesern und Verfügbarkeit von LGBT-Literatur bei Buchhändlern, Verlagen und Bibliotheken beizutragen und deren Autoren zu würdigen und zu ermutigen.[1]
