Shutdown Festival ist ein jährlich stattfindendes Open-Air-Musikfestival im Bereich der Hardstyle und Hardcore Musik (inklusive diverser Subgenres). Es wird seit 2017 von Revolution Events organisiert, welche auch für das Electric Love Festival bekannt sind. Es ist das größte Festival im Harder-Styles Bereich in Österreich.

Konzept
Lage
Austragungsort des Shutdown Festival ist das Kernkraftwerk Zwentendorf an der Donau welches jedoch wegen einer Volksabstimmung nie in Betrieb ging. Das Kraftwerk diente auch schon als Austragungsort des Nuke Musikfestivals. Außerdem wird es momentan zu Ausbildungszwecken genutzt.
